Meet Anthony Reweti -
Director and Owner of Bold Build
Anthony was born in the Sunny coast of Australia (probably where he fell in love with the beach and surfing) he lived there till his family moved home to Mount Maunganui in the 90’s.
He started BOLD BUILD in 2020, after leading a team in his previous company for 9 years which went on to win two supreme awards in the Master builder house of the year awards, however his passion for craftsmanship started much earlier. Starting his apprenticeship at 17 years old he learnt from a young age what is possible with the right balance of people, skills and technical expertise.
As one of Mount Maunganui most reputable builders Anthony understands the importance of good relationships with his clients, designers and with subcontractors to see a build through to completion and creates a positive work environment that brings out the best in everyone.
Anthony has a fresh and straight-up communication style. he employs exceptional foremen but you will always have direct access to him, he doesnt sit behind a desk all day, he is hands on, out visiting sites, meeting with clients, and engaging with subcontractors to ensure a build of the highest standard right to the end and beyond.
Bold Build is a family business, Anthony and his wife Nicola who runs the books have four children and still live in their first home which they built at 21yrs old in the beautiful Mount (with a small added extension for their growing family!).

Toby
I’ve been in trades for 20 years and now I have two qualifications in cabinet making and building. For fun he’s either outdoors, in the water surfing or fishing and spending time with my family, or renovating my own home.

Matt
Matt is in his third year of building after being a personal trainer beforehand he wanted to learn a trade and is thriving, Matt lives in Arataki with his wife and gorgeous little girl Willow. he’s Interested in all aspects of holistic living including surfing, he even used to be a professional volleyball player!

Cody
Cody grew up in Hamilton he is in the second year of his apprenticeship living the dream flatting in the Mount he enjoys his weekends wakeboarding, snowboarding, playing football, running marathons and a bit of gym.

Dan
Dan has been building for 8 years, seeing the end result of a project and the clients satisfaction is why he loves building.
In his spare time Dan enjoys fishing, golf and running marathons.

Nick
Nicks been building for three years, he spent 9 years drilling before that where he spent alot of time abroad, Nick and his wife moved to the Mount from Wellington 1 year ago to be closer to family and they have just welcomed there second child, in his spare time they love enjoying the beach close to home.

Matt has been building for 11years both in NZ and Australia, before moving to Mount Maunganui he lived in Mangawhai where he spent his time off as a volunteer lifeguard, with his wife and two kids now living in Papmoa he spends his time off surfing and being outdoors.

Jason
Jason grew up down the coast in Whakatane, he has been building hi spec architectural houses in the Mount for 9 years Jason is a keen hunter and loves the outdoors.

Kiel has been on the tools for 8 years him and his wife have grown up in the bay and are now navigating life with a toddler in tow.
